This past May I had the pleasure of working with sooooo many awesome vendors for a styled shoot out at Manchester State Park here in Washington! Gather Design Company styled the shoot and brought in AMAZING florals, MeaMarie Bridal lent us an AMAZING dress, Sweet Lo’s Ice Cream brought the sweet treats, Bespoke Strokes Calligraphy provided beautiful hand calligraphy paper goods, PNP Studios lent us unique raw diamond jewelry and a vintage wedding band, Unique and Chic Rentals brought in some awesome furniture and chairs for us to use, and of course Mossfloor Photography killed it as always with capturing it all beautifully. See links below for all vendor details and contact info!

Hey Guys!

So I’m back on the blog today with a shoot that was particularly special to me for two reasons. The first being that this was my first shoot that I have ever done COMPLETELY on my own! The second being that I gotnto work with Steven again! 🙂 It was so much fun getting to not only style, shoot, and edit this session all on my own, but it was super fun to get to explore downtown Olympia for the day!  I wanted to do this shoot mainly for practice for shooting with Mossfloor Photography as we have our first male senior rep this year! I’m so use to posing women that I took advantage of having a male model and experimenting with masculine posing instead of feminine. As far as styling goes i wanted more of an urban feel with flannels, leather jackets, high-top converse, and aviators. Once i started editing and realized how much I LOVED how this looked in black and white I decided to do the whole shoot that way and really loved how it turned out. Hope you all enjoy! 🙂

Hey Everyone!

So I’m back with a new shoot for you! This time Mossfloor Photography and I headed into the woods at Millersvania State Park in Tumwater, WA for the ultimate “heebie jeebies” shoot. Brianna had an incredible vision for a “good vs evil” light vs dark” innocent vs well, not so innocent” theme set in the foggy woods. I was SO excited when she asked me to shoot the “dark side” of our two models! Having worked with Brianna so many times in the past I wasn’t super nervous but definitely felt the pressure to deliver for Brianna! As far as hair and makeup goes I once again had the pleasure of working with the Beautiful Ms. Haley Wiss and her cousin Haley-Jo! We decided to keep the makeup and hair very simple, very, clean, glowy, and feminine. I’m SOOOO excited to share these photos with you guys! Hope you enjoy!

Hello Everyone!

So welcome to my first blog! Super excited to finally be able to do this and share some great photos with you guys! So for my first blog post I decided to talk a little bit about a photoshoot that I did with Mossfloor Photography and our spokes model Ms. Haely Wiss! We traveled to the Yakima desert for this shoot and it was SO much fun! I even stayed up late the night before making her tulle skirt that you see in the photos! Haha! I kept it very dark and vampy with her makeup and kept all the focus on her eyes and lips. for her hair I knew I wanted a lot of drama and fullness towards the bottom of her hair while keeping the top smooth and sleek. I played with texture by utilizing multiple styling techniques to achieve her soft curls mixed with a zig-zagged frizzy texture that ended up reminding me a lot of tumbleweeds in the desert. All-in-all it was an AMAZING shoot with some amazing people!  Enjoy!
